I would rate the Talbot Hotel in Stillorgan a 4.9 out of 5 for this stay in May 2024. Room was almost perfect, only a few small nightly things like, the Wardrobe only had 2 shelves close to the floor which I could not use because of my bad back, and the bathroom is tiled beautifully but the tiles on the floor made it a bit slippy in socks or when standing barefoot with one foot on the towel, the towel slowly moving on the tiles. Lastly the stopper in the sink was not attached, it was loose and easily came away from the plug hole.not a pretty sight or smell from it.

Stayed at the Talbot has had a meeting in NIBRT the next day. Check in was efficient & the room was superb.. very spacious & well appointed Breakfast next morning was most enjoyable Only downside was not being able to get a taxi the next morning but this is a dublin issue not the hotels!!!

Spend 2 days with my wife this week and we are very happy with our stay overall.the staff are amazing and the hotel is spotless even do it possibly could do with a bit of work in places.the food in the bar was absolutely lovely and the bar staff also so friendly and helpful.one thing we did notice was no crisps or snacks at the bar and no vending machine.bar staff are constantly being asked late at night do they do crisps etc.i would highly recommend this hotel
